Evil Texas Attorney General Attempts To Void Marriage License For Same-Sex Couple

In the latest news from evil Texan men in power, on Friday, Attorney General Ken Paxton asked the state’s Supreme Court to revoke a marriage license issued to same-sex couple Sarah Goodfriend and Suzanne Bryant (above).

Bryant and Goodfriend have been together for over 30 years and a county judge granted them a marriage license as an exception due to Goodfriend’s poor health from ovarian cancer.

Paxton’s reasons for trying to revoke this license — besides what could only be an animated force of evil that is coursing through his blood as he sits in his lair petting his hairless cat — is the tired old “fight for the sanctity of marriage” as well as the “legal chaos” that would ensue because of the judge’s “rogue” actions. OH YEAH, JUST WATCH OUT — THESE TWO WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 30 YEARS HAVE NOW UNLEASHED CHAOS!

Luckily, the couple has a strong lawyer who is fighting for them, along with everyone in Texas who has a soul. “If he wants to sue a woman who has ovarian cancer to try to take away her marriage license license, so be it,” said Chuck Herring. “His continuing meanness and lack of compassion are remarkable.”

By now same-sex marriage is legal in 37 of our 50 states. I know Texas thinks they are special and act like their own country, but they’re not. Time to get with the program. [Reuters]
