Woman Has Crack Pipe Removed From Her Vagina, Dies Shortly After

Well, it was not a very pleasant holiday for a Florida woman named April Rollison, who died a week after having a crack pipe removed from her vagina.

The 31-year-old woman was arrested on December 16 for drug charges, and was taken to the Polk County Jail’s booking room, where a body scan alerted authorities about a glass pipe and bottle stashed in Rollison’s vagina.

They transferred her to Bartow Regional Medical Center, where medical personnel removed the paraphernalia from Rollison’s body. But during her time at the hospital, authorities believe she slipped out the drugs and took them when no one was looking. There was a brief period of time when Rollison was alone, in which a nurse and deputy gave her privacy to use a bedpan while they waited on the other side of a curtain. (I would imagine she made some grunting and farting noises to strengthen her cover.) Sneaky.

When Rollison was booked into jail again after the, er … removal, she became ill and was hospitalized in critical condition. She tested positive for methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana before dying in the hospital a week later. Investigators later found traces of cocaine on the hospital floor. Please refrain from making a White Christmas joke. [NY Daily News]
