Sir Ian McKellen Teaches Cookie Monster How To Resist Cookies; Also, Sir Ian McKellen Is Hot
This week, Sir Ian McKellen visited “Sesame Street” to teach Cookie Monster about the word “resist.” First, McKellen tried to use a shiny gold ring to demonstrate the meaning of “resist,” but in Cookie Monster’s words, “Me not much of a jewelry guy,” and if he was going to understand what “resist” means, McKellen would have to offer something that Cookie Monster really, really, really wants.
This is adorable.
I get exactly as emotionally disturbed as Cookie Monster at the prospect of resisting cookies.
I know this is a kid’s show, but when McKellen says “you’re precious” just — damn. It’s better than Yumberbatch.
Also, can we all agree that Ian McKellen is hot? I mean, look, he’s hot now, but if you need convincing, just check out this photo from his younger days:
WHAT’D I SAY. Ian McKellen is enough to give me penis envy, because he makes me wish I was a gay guy. Also, sorry this “Sesame Street” post went in this direction. I promise it’s as awkward for me as it is for you. I’m going to go watch some old BBC footage of McKellen’s plays now.
