Courtney Love Will Star In An Experimental Opera

  • Courtney Love will star in an experimental opera called “Kansas City Choir Boy” as part of this January’s Protoype festival in NYC. The show, directed by Kevin New bury and composed by Todd Almond, is described as a “theatricalized concept album about love altered by unexpected fate.” The story is told through flashbacks, following a small-town Midwestern couple and the aftermath when one of them goes missing. The show is influenced by ancient mythology as well as the 24-hour news cycle. I am so intrigued. [HuffPost]
