Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Accused Of Sexual Assault By Ex-Stripper

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been accused of sexually assaulting a former stripper named Jana Weckerly, 27, during a 2009 incident in Texas. In a lawsuit, which can be read here, Wecklery said she and another woman met Jones at a hotel in North Texas sometime during May or June 2009. She accused the 71-year-old Cowboys’ owner of forcing his fingers into her vagina, forcibly kissing her on the neck and shoulders, forcing her to rub his penis, forcibly grabbing or rubbing her butt, and making her watch while he got a blowjob from the other woman. All of this occurred without her consent, she alleges.

The suit alleges that the Cowboys and Jones “conspired to cover up the sexual assault,” telling Weckerly “to keep quiet and not tell anyone else ‘or else.'” It also claims Weckerly was “intimidated” into signing documents “against her will” (presumably regarding the alleged conspiracy). Photos have also come out depicting Jones in flirty poses with a young woman, although that woman is supposedly not Wecklery.

In a statement, Jones’ lawyer accused Weckerly of trying to extort his client:

“These allegations are completely false. The legal complaint is unsupported by facts or evidence of any kind. This is nothing more than an attempt to embarrass and extort Jerry Jones. This is a money grab by a lawyer who is a solo practitioner just trying to make a name for himself. The alleged incidents would have been more than give years old. We intend to vigorously contest this complaint and expect it will be shown for what it is — a shakedown. Due to the seriousness of these baseless allegations, we have also involved law enforcement.”

Jones is being sued for over $1 million in damages.
