This Space-Inspired John Lennon Cover Is Totally Dreamy

To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the moon landing on July 20th, German singer Louise Gold put together a space-inspired cover of John Lennon’s “Oh My Love.” She used the sounds of Neil Armstrong’s heartbeat while walking on the moon’s surface for the rhythm and the elliptical orbit of Venus for the orchestration. I’m not sure what exactly I was expecting from a song about the cosmos, but the only way I can think to describe the end result is warm and calming. I kind of love it.
