Now You Can Adopt Puppies Through A Catalog (Sort Of)

Not even Peggy Olsen could have come up with an advertising plan like this: how could anyone resist thinking about rescuing a homeless pet when their cute faces are planted right into a catalog? Green Wood Animal Shelter in London teamed up with British company Furniture Village put together an online brochure that includes the addition of special guests to their usual catalogue photos of household decor: dogs and cats who are looking for forever homes. The pets-to-be, who currently reside at the shelter, can be adopted with just a few clicks. I clicked on a few of the catalog stars to learn their stories, and it kind of melted my heart to see “Reserved” next to some of their names in bright letters. Lots of the animals featured in the brochure aren’t even listed on the shelter’s site anymore, which means they’ve been placed with loving humans! You can check out the brochure photos here and if you’re in Green Wood’s area, think about offering a home to sweet little fuzzballs like kitties Boudicca and Gunner, who still need families of their own!
