Beauty Test Drive: Etre Belle Liplift Peel

Beauty Test Drive: Liplift Peel

At times, my lips are so dry they resemble truck tires. And then when I wear matte lip colors or stains, they adhere to the dead skin leaving a patchwork mess. The look and feel isn’t attractive, trust. I have been on the hunt for a lip scrub to revive my pout for some time and was thrilled to receive this Liplift Peel.

Price: $18, GlossyBox

Application: Liplift Peel comes in a standard lip-gloss tube. One simply squeezes the exfoliator directly on lips and rubs. At first, I rubbed my lips together, but found rubbing the product in with my finger to be more effective. I aggressively scrubbed my lips with this gentle exfoliant for at least 60 seconds, then removed with a damp paper towel. Do not lick it off!

Results: My lips instantly felt smoother to the touch and most of the dead skin coating my lips was gone. Although the instructions recommend weekly use, I repeated this process the next day to remove the last of the dead skin. (Yes, my lips were that bad.) The results were difficult to capture on camera, but I assure you my husband even noticed the difference! This product is affordable, easy, and effective — what more could a girl ask for?
