Price: $16, LORAC

Application: Begin by shaking the bottle well. Then open and use the dropper to dot a small amount on your finger or the back of your hand. (Be careful, this product is quite runny and potent. If you dispense too much, you’ll find drops of glitter everywhere!)  Dab and rub the product on each eyelid. In this Beauty Test Drive, I’ve applied this product to my bare eyelids. One drop is more than enough for each eye.

Beauty Test Drive: Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre Before

Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before touching your face, clothes, or anyone else. I’m serious. At the end of the day, I found this dramatic shimmer on my eyelids … and my blouse, jeans, and jacket!

Beauty Test Drive: Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre

Overall: After stepping out of the studio to take photos in natural sunlight, I realized the product is far too dramatic under the office fluorescents. Avoid blinding co-workers and save this shimmer for a dimly lit bar or club. If you’re in the market for a contact lens-safe shimmer, Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre is a suitable option. It’s just a little crazy on.
