Taking care of my skin always feels like a chore. Whether it’s taking my makeup off before I go to bed or using the Clarisonic Mia (which gets me tons of compliments, for real), it’s not a habit. Or it’s a bad habit. Whatever, you know what I mean. But when Origins sent The Frisky office one of their moisturizers, I found a reason to actually enjoy washing my face. Their Make A Difference Plus+ ultra-rich moisturizer feels so good on my dry skin.

Prince/Availability: $39.95, Origins.com, Sephora.com or at Origins stores

Packaging: It’s a relatively small-sized 1.7 oz pot, but a little goes a long way. It took me about two or three months to use up all the product.

Overall: My biggest skincare complaint is when moisturizer doesn’t last all day and then my skin gets dry underneath my makeup by midday. Then I’m in that weird position of wondering whether I should slather more cream over my made-up face. The Make A Difference Plus+ moisturizer is made for dry/very dry skin and it’s deliciously creamy, meant to last all day. But miraculously, it doesn’t feel heavy. It’s light and easy to wear under makeup without requiring touchups. Dare I say my skin actually looked dewy?

Rating: 5/5  Sadly for my skin, I can’t afford to spend $40 a pop on moisturizer. I have to rock drug store brands. But if I could be spendy, this is the one I would use!
