What I Really Want:

1. Drawstring Bucket Bag. I have two purses: one satchel that I got at the Madewell sample sale two years ago and one bucket bag that belonged to my friend’s mother in the 70’s. Both of these bags are wonderful, but as you might imagine, have seen better days. [$158, Madewell]

2. Robin Wallet. If you were reading between the lines of the last item on my wish-list, you probably intuited that I am really loyal to my purses. I am even more loyal to my wallets. I’ve had the same wallet since 2002. I’ve included photographic evidence below because I knew you wouldn’t believe me. It’s busted and broken, but I can’t seem to let go. It’s time. [$88, Hobo Bags]

3. Pomegranate & Ginger Hand Wash & Lotion Set. I admit. I am scent snob. I washed my hands with this at my brother and sister-in-law’s apartment, and it smelled so good that for the rest of the night, I found as many excuses as I could to wash my hands and lotion them. But I just can’t bring myself to buy such expensive soap. Maybe someone else will do it for me.  [$62, Molton Brown]

4. Nina Simone, Sugar In My Bowl (Vol 1 & 2). My boyfriend and I do a whole lot of record shopping. I’m always on the lookout for this Nina Simone album. It’s what’s currently missing from my collection. [$19, Ebay]

5. Mo’s Dark Chocolate Bacon Bars. If you’re going to have a chocolate addiction, this might be the best kind to get addicted to. But my habit is getting expensive. Any help would be appreciated. [$7.50, Vosges Chocolate]

6. Zafu and Zabuton Meditation Cushion Set. I’ve committed to daily meditation. Time to commit to a comfortable place to do it. [$89.90, Sage Meditation]

7. Clarisonic Aria. Did I mention that I am about to turn 35? I’ll be damned if you’re going to know that by looking at my skin. I hear the Clarisonic Aria is like the Maybach Benz of skin care, so obviously, I need it.  [$199, Sephora]
