#SpinAMAs: Watch And Tweet The American Music Awards With Us!

In my humble opinion, the American Music Awards are kind of the red-headed stepchild of all of the music awards. And thanks to Miley Cyrus’ performance with Robin Thicke at the VMAs earlier this year, the AMAs will really have to bring their A-game if they want to stand out— and I think they will.

That’s why we’ll be watching and live tweeting, every step (and inappropriate dance number) of the way. (Above, watch the livestream of the red carpet.)

With performances from Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood, and so many more, I feel like there’s bound to be at least one number with shock value, right? Will Gaga wear something made of corkboard? Is Kim Kardashian going to show up and reenact the “Bound 2″ video with Kanye? Will Pitbull end every sentence with the word “dale”? Time will tell.

Join @TheFrisky tonight on Twitter to get in on the action. From the red carpet through to the very last word of the show (see: “dale” reference above), we’ll be there. Join us at 6 p.m. EST as we tweet through stars’ arrivals on the red carpet via the livestream above, then check out the rest of the arrivals on E! at 7 p.m., and be sure to tune in to ABC tonight at 8 p.m. EST for the show! Use the hashtag #SpinAMAs, and we’ll see you there!
