TV Jackpot: “Law & Order: SVU” Makes A Trayvon Martin/Paula Deen Episode

Whoa Nelly, we’re not even sure how this is going to go down, but the baby geniuses behind “Law & Order: SVU” have gone and done it again. After their amazing “ripped from the headlines” Chris Brown/Rihanna episode, they’ve now announced they’re going to do a show inspired by both the Trayvon Martin shooting and Paula Deen’s racism scandal.

Now how is this going to work? No clue, but we do know who’ll be playing Paula Deen…

Cybill Shepherd! From “Moonlighting”! (I mean, has she really done anything that great since “Moonlighting”?) Sayeth “SVU” executive producer Warren Leight, “[Jeffrey] Tambor is a defense attorney representing a very high-profile celebrity woman chef who thought she was being pursued by a rapist and turned around it was a teenager. And she shot him.” And plus: “There’s a lot of stop and frisk elements to that as well.”

So Paula Deen shot Trayvon Martin? A likely story. What’s next? An Anthony Wiener-alike getting caught in a 50 Shades of Grey affair? Oh wait… [Celebuzz]
