A review of Too Faced False Lashes

I am not coordinated or motivated enough to wear false eyelashes, even though they always look totally amazing. I’ve tried putting them on once or twice, but thanks to having perma-shaky Hamburger Helper hands, I was never capable of getting them properly in place or sticking right. Plus? They’re not the best investment — you can wear the once, maybe twice, tops — before you’ve got to toss ‘em. Enter Too Faced Better Than False Lashes Nylon Lash Extension System. This product! I’m obsessed — obsessed! — with this product. And here’s why…

Price: $35

Packaging: The “system” comes packaged together in a set, so you don’t have to run around buying separate products.

How it works: So it’s a quick 3-step process. First, you apply mascara. Then you apply the Flexistretch™ nylon lash fibers. The fibers go on with a mascara wand, too, so there’s no delicately placing anything on your eye, no glue to accidentally blind yourself with. Once you’ve applied a coat of the fibers, you then go over them again with the mascara. Beauty science!

Wear Time: Stays on all day, and washes off just as regular mascara would.

Overall: Holy crap. I love this. It’s really fun and easy to use, and it gives real results. I saw a significant increase in lash length and volume, and now I have eyelashes to rival some of the best drag queens in the kingdom.
