  • Turkish Airlines has banned stewardesses from wearing red lipstick and nail polish, claiming bright makeup “impairs visual integrity.” Critics say the restriction is a sign the moderate Islamic country is becoming more conservative, in particular towards women’s sexuality. [Guardian UK]
