Stephen Colbert Responds To “Accidental Racist” With “Oopsie-Daisy Homophobe”

A couple weeks ago, Brad Paisley and LL Cool J released their collaboration, “Accidental Racist,” and the whole world cringed. Did the duo have good intentions? Of course. Did their oversimplified take on modern day race relations miss the mark in so many ways? Definitely. One person who was inspired by the song was Stephen Colbert, who decided to write his own politically charged tune “in the hopes of bridging another deep cultural rift in America: the gay marriage divide.” Push play to check out his parody jam called “Oopsie-Daisy Homophobe,” with guest rapper Alan Cumming.
