Choosing The Right Seat Is The Bane Of My Existence

Maybe it’s just me, but when I go to sit down at a table, I seem to always instinctively choose a seat in the middle, which theoretically makes sense but usually means I’m stuck between a bunch of people having conversations with people to their left or right. Enter designer Alex Cornell’s helpful diagram, which explains the ideal seat at a variety of different table setups. Each table diagram is accompanied with a “level of difficulty” rating that helps the user determine whether they’d like to attempt to sit down at all. Check out a larger view of the graphic here.
