Ahh, the SAG Awards. The only awards show I mute for the first three or so minutes until the awful, self-absorbed “My name is BLAH BLAH BLAH and I am an ACTOR” introductions are finished. Last night’s show was fairly mellow and expected — Anne Hathaway was typically breathless and faux humble about winning for “Les Mis” and Claire Danes was a total dork — and the fashions on the red carpet were rather tame as well. Some highlights: Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence’s dresses did right by their breasts, Jane Lynch wore her best gown ever, Claire Danes’ goth lipstick would totally get Angela Chase’s approval, and January Jones has a dinner napkin you can borrow.
