One of my friends posted a link to this perplexing Comme Des Garcons garment on her Facebook wall the other day, asking if anyone could explain it to her. I’ve been looking at it for, like, six hours total now, and I still have no idea why it exists. I mean, it kind of looks like a strap used for archery, but there’s nowhere to put the arrows, and I don’t know many archers who would splash out so much extra money for red sequins. It’s officially titled “Sequin Top” but it doesn’t cover any of the areas a top traditionally covers. Also it costs over $400, even on sale. Whyyyyy? [$423, Farfetch]
