In case you missed it, here is President Obama’s beautiful speech, delivered at last night’s vigil for those killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on Friday, which took the lives of six educators and 20 6- and 7-year-old children. “Are we prepared to say that such violence visited on our children year after year is somehow the price of our freedom?” the President asks, in direct reference to our country’s need for stricter gun control laws.
