In “Crazy Stupid Love” — that funny rom-com starring Ryan Gosling so you know I’ve seen in 20,000 times — Gosling’s character explains to Emma Stone that women want to sleep with him as soon as they find out that he can do the lift from “Dirty Dancing.” I have come to the conclusion that Taylor Swift has seen that film more than I have because A) it’s totally her kind of movie and I know this because I get Taylor Swift, B) she’s pals with Emma Stone, and C) she managed to convince new boyfriend Harry Styles (from One Direction) to do the lift with her at a club this week. In conclusion, while Taylor may be having the time of her life, no one should ever do this again. It’s officially jumped the shark. [MTV]
