Behold the “Granny Pod,” a 12-by-24-foot pop-up, fully-functioning house for your unwanted elders. … equipped with the latest technical advances in the industry, MEDCottage was made to assist with many care-giving duties. Using smart robotic features, it can monitor vital signs, filter the air for contaminants, and communicate with the outside world very easily.
Various sensors throughout the cottage can alert the caregivers if their elderly family member falls or other accidents occur. Computers can also remind the elderly to take their meds, so contact with their loving family is not even needed.
