Rihanna Apologizes To The 250 Journalists, Guests She Ignored On Her European Press Junket

  • A journalist on Rihanna’s 777 tour press junket penned a screed to Gawker on just how awful the experience has been: no bathrooms, three hour delays, and zero interaction with RiRi. Everyone has been flying around Europe on a plane together, hoping for interview time with the pop star to no avail. Lots of the 250 folks on the junket — including fans — have been complaining not-so-secretly about what a mess the trip has been, prompting Rihanna to finally apologize today. “I know you guys got barely any dirt,” she told them. “But I had to be good. I still sound like sh—. It’s impossible to spend time with everybody, and I’m sorry I didn’t. But this was excellent and I would definitely do it again.”  [Gawker, US Weekly]
