Felines Steal The Spotlight At The Catdance Film Festival

“What happens to a dream deferred,” asked the poet Langston Hughes. It’s the overarching theme to the new Catdance Film Festival hit, “8 To Go,” about a cat whose DJ dreams are waylaid by his catnip addiction. The Catdance Film Festival, held this year in Park City, Utah (natch), offers the best in scripted cat cinema. And Catdance has partnered with Fresh Step to offer viewers sneak peeks at some of these cinematic masterpieces. And if you’re a fledgling filmmaker yourself, submit your own cat-focused movie into this year’s festival — deadline for submissions is December 7. [Fresh Step]
