Hurricane Sandy Aftermath: Worst Commute Ever

So, following Hurricane Sandy, I’m temporarily squatting at my mom’s apartment in Brooklyn until the power and water returns to my place in Manhattan. But should it return today, for example, I won’t be able to take the subway there, because the train lines below 34th street are still down. But I could take the bus. OR NOT.
