I think the LACMA Art + Film Gala is the West Coast’s version of the CFDA Awards — everybody looks totally flawless, and they’re all wearing fashions that are sort of high concept and adventurous. It probably also helps that this year’s LACMA Gala was sponsored by Gucci, and practically everyone wore Gucci to the event. That must have been a total load off the stylists’ minds.
