I really, really want to like this dress. I love a cool, edgy black dress. I love cutouts! And even though I think she is annoying, I love Gwyneth Paltrow’s style. But something about these cutouts I don’t get. They’re not doing anything for her shape; the whole point of a cutout is to create an illusion and this isn’t creating any illusion that I enjoy. Maybe if the side cutouts were lower and were emphasizing her waist I would like it more. Instead they are emphasizing her rib cage, which is just weird to me. What say you?
