Fall TV has officially begun filling our DVRs, and we’re especially excited to see the new shows featuring strong female characters (like Mindy Kaling in “The Mindy Project,” which premiered last night). Whether they’re doctors, lawyers, or country singers, this fresh crop of leading ladies includes plenty of driven, professional single women who have aspirations that don’t just include marriage and babies.
