I love Emma Watson in every single way, whether she’s Hermione Granger or, well, Emma Watson. (I apologize, but I will never let go of her, or my, Potter past.) She’s beautiful, British, smart, stylish, and rocks a daring pixie crop like a pro while flipping the proverbial finger to the suggestion that “men don’t like it” — what’s not to love? “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” was practically the bible of my Troubled Outcast youth, and there is a good chance I am going to see the movie in theaters multiple times. You know, for nostalgia’s sake.
Emma, who has one of the leading roles in the film, attended the Hollywood premiere last night in Giorgio Armani. Don’t get me wrong — this is a gorgeous dress on a gorgeous girl, but something about the gown looks a little off. It could be the way the neckline tapers upward that cuts her and makes her upper body look broader than it is … and she’s totally playing with sideboob fire, as in one could just slip on out at any moment. Suspense! So this isn’t really about the dress, or about Emma; it’s about the dress on Emma. Do you love this look and think I’m crazy (I am, I am), or do you agree that she could do better?
