So who was it that said redheads couldn’t wear pink? Sure, one of Jessica Chastain‘s false lashes may be trying to make a run for it, but the rest of her looks freakin’ fabulous. With that said, I am neon pink lipstick’s fiercest, most loyal advocate; I will testify to the death that a seriously hot semi-matte pink like this one looks good on anyone, anywhere, all the time, and that means redheads, too. It brightens up fair complexions, provides killer contrast to a tan, and makes your teeth look whiter and your eyes sharper and clearer. Such a bold shade plays best with a fresh, natural complexion and little color elsewhere, like Jessica’s glowy skin and light-handed blush in a similar shade. I’m just a touch disappointed that Jessica went the extensions route this time rather than sport her new bob, but hey, she looks gorgeous either way.
