I am not very good at being a hipster. Sure, I own a few pairs of wayfarers and I’ve been known to see movies ironically, but I’ve never thought of myself as “cool” and I really, really hate PBR (am I suffering from Hipster Denial Disorder? Most likely). Even so, when I plopped all my favorite indie/emo/electro-dance songs into one playlist, I fell in love with the results. I’m sure real hipsters will dismiss most or all of these artists as too mainstream, but you’ve gotta admit–it’s a great mix for getting stuff done around the house or, you know, brooding and illustrating your graphic novel.
