Let me just say that I approve of Yann Martel’s The Life of Pi being adapted by Ang Lee. He makes such visually arresting films and this one looks like it will be no exception. Perhaps even more so, since it will be released in 3D. It looks absolutely breathtaking. If you haven’t already read the book, please do so immediately. If you read it ages ago (as I did), I’ll remind you that it’s that gripping read about the boy on the boat with the Bengal tiger. Don’t worry, no spoilers. I can’t wait to see this film.
