As far as I’m concerned, the hotter the better when it comes to anything edible. I take green Tabasco on my eggs, cayenne chili powder on my veggies, chili flakes on my pizza, Sriracha on just about everything else — all applied liberally. Sometimes, at restaurants, I ask for my own bottle of hot sauce. And if there’s not enough, I ask for a fuller bottle. I want to feel the meal burning it’s way all the way down to my stomach so I can remember it. It’s not weird, other spice-o-philes know exactly what I’m talking about.
