I used to harbor an inexplicable hatred for button-down blouses. Actually, I can explain. I don’t mean the actual blouses themselves, or on other people — I actually would see other people wearing them and be jealous of how good they looked. The problem was when I would try them on myself. Suddenly, my shoulders looked broad, my boobs flattened, and my hips enormous.
