The Met Ball, held each year at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, is Fashion with a capital F’s version of the Oscars. Okay, so no awards are given out — this year’s gala celebrated “parallels between Miuccia and the late Elsa Schiaparelli” — but the red carpet arrivals put the Academy Awards to shame.
