Congratulations to Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson, who welcomed baby girl Maxwell Drew into the world today! Congratulations are also (begrudgingly) due to Julie Gerstein, who bet me $10 that the baby would be under 10 pounds. I was so sure, given how, um, big Jessica was during her epically long pregnancy, that her baby would be at least 10 lbs, but Maxwell weighed in at 9 pounds 13 ounces. So close!
