As is tradition, the President delivered a standup routine at this weekend’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, cracking jokes about Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Donald Trump. Probably my favorite joke? “Four years ago, I was locked in a brutal primary battle with Hillary Clinton,” President Obama said. “Four years later she won’t stop drunk-texting me from Cartegana.” Also, I have a soft spot for the shout out to the First Lady in his Young Jeezy joke.
