Part of (adorable) designer Joseph Altuzarra’s duty as CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner is to design a collaborative collection for J. Crew — and now we’re finally seeing the fruits of his labors. Altuzarra says he was inspired by “Brigitte Bardot in Saint-Tropez and French preppy style” and the seven pieces in his collection reflect that retro-simple look. While nothing in the capsule collection is particularly revelatory or new, it’s nice to see Altuzarra create a series of looks that so seamlessly blends with J. Crew’s aesthetic.
