More than six weeks after he shot and killed unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin in a suburb of Orlando, Florida, self-appointed neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman will be charged in his death, a senior law enforcement official close to the investigation tells HLN. The prosecutor in the case will hold a press conference tonight; it’s unknown what exactly Zimmerman will be charged with. Yesterday, Zimmerman’s legal team announced they were dropping him as a client, after they “lost contact” with him. While some have expressed concern that Zimmerman is a flight risk, others have suggested that police know Zimmerman’s whereabouts and have had him under surveillance. [HLNTV]
