Edun is the brainchild of Bono and his wife Ali Hewson. Founded in 2005, the company is committed to fair trade and sustainability by building partnerships with growers and manufacturers at the beginning of the supply chain in Africa. In 2008, it launched the Conservation Cotton Initiative Uganda, and uses cotton produced through the initiative in many of its products.
