Yeah, yeah, St. Patrick’s Day, whatever. More importantly, Happy National Corndog Day! For the past 20 years, one Saturday in March has been set aside to celebrate college basketball, beer, and batter-dipped meat on a stick. Even though I don’t give a crap about March Madness, I feel very strongly about any holiday that encourages copious corndog consumption. My brothers and I used to celebrate with a corndog eating contest, which I would always lose, but within a few hours it would become clear that the digestive system of the man who had eaten 13 corndogs was the real loser.
