A Backpack With Bicycle Appeal

As a bike-riding, purse-wearing lady, one of the most frustrating things is finding a cute bag that can also be worn while riding my bike. Shoulder bags simply don’t work: I once actually rode into a street sign trying to balance my purse on my shoulder while maneuvering my bike. That’s why I’m totally in love with the Royal Bank of McD’s “Fixie” Bicycle Back Pack. Made of leather and satin with gold-plated snaps, this bag can be worn as a backpack or a messenger bag, and has a feminine feel, despite it’s clearly masculine silhouette. Yes, the Fixie costs a pretty penny (or more accurately, about the same as a really nice Italian fixed gear bike), but hey, it’s made so well it’ll last you a lifetime. Or at least a lifetime of bike rides.
