Carey Mulligan is a great actress and has brought a maturity to all of her roles — from “An Education” to “Never Let Me Go” to “Drive” — despite her youthful age. In her latest movie “Shame,” she tackles seriously sexy territory and even has a nude scene. Still, I was sort of surprised to see her on the cover of W in basically just a white bra. I’m used to seeing starlets like Megan Fox and Lindsay Lohan in just their skivvies, but there’s something regal and elegant about Carey’s — and the magazine’s — approach.
