DSK’s Wife Considering Divorce After Rape Accusations, Prostitution Scandal
Finally! At long last, Dominique Strauss Kahn’s wife has finally gotten a clue (or an STD). Anne Sinclair stood by the former International Monetary Fund chief when he was accused in May of sexually assaulting a hotel maid and reached into her deep pockets to pay his lawyer fees. (All criminal charges were dismissed; a civil case is still pending.) Sinclair even stood by DSK last month when he was accused of using a high-class French prostitution ring.
But now a politician close to the French power couple said Anne has had enough and they “are thinking about (divorce or separation), that’s for sure.” The French newspaper Le Figaro even quoted “friends” of Anne who claim she thinks his reputation is getting “pathetic.”
The paper continues:
“[Anne Sinclair] took an enormous whack on the head when she discovered the extent of the lies. But she doesn’t want to leave [DSK] now as he is a lonely and desperate man. … There is a link between them that is difficult to define. It is still there despite everything, at least for now.”
Hmm. Their bond sounds positively Clinton-ian, doesn’t it? They stay together through thick and thin, though from the outside his behavior looks positively humiliating to her. But as we’ve seen just yesterday with Demi and Ashton divorcing, even the most deluded and/or open-minded wives sometimes say “enough is enough.”
Now, if Gloria Cain would just get a clue, too.
