Evening Quickies: Scarlett Johansson Nude Photos Hacker Pleads “Not Guilty”

  • Christopher Chaney, who publicly apologized for releasing nude photos of Scarlett Johansson, has pleaded not guilty to charges of hacking and invasion of privacy. “Not guilty” and an apology? We’re sure that course of action will do wonders for his defense of 26 charges. Chaney of Florida is accused of hacking into 50 celebrities’ email accounts, in addition to leaking the nude photos of Scarlett Johansson. In his public apology he said, “I’m not trying to escape what I did.” But the threat of a 121-year prison sentence must of have spurred a rethink. [AP]
