I don’t spend a lot of time lusting after fashions I can’t afford; it’s counter-productive. But ever since I peeped the Donata over-the-knee boot at the Ugg Australia showroom, I can’t get them out of my head. These boots have a sleek leg-lengthening, thigh-high style complete with bomber jacket-esque stitching. But more importantly, the Donata is also warm and cold weather-appropriate because it is lined in Italian shearling and features a rubber outsole. With these boots I wouldn’t have to sacrifice style for function or vice versa … but I would be broke. At $1,095, the Donata is sadly way out of my budget, but I will continue to lust after them from afar.
