Miss Piggy Has A Better Wardrobe Than We Do

You’re going to be seeing a whole heck of a lot more Miss Piggy soon. That’s because she’s got a big role in the newest Muppets movie (out this November). In it, she plays a high-powered editor at French Vogue – and she has the wardrobe to match. In a new spread for InStyle, Miss Piggy was outfitted in the finest garments from designers like Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu and Brian Atwood. “Her humor, flamboyance and joie de vivre inspired me to design a decadent feathered dress that features her most sensational qualities,” said Wu.

Wu wasn’t the only one fawning over Piggy; “I didn’t want to dress Miss Piggy in anything that would take away from her bold personality so I went with a simple, classic dress and neutral color,” said Prabal Gurung of the quilted white dress he designed for Piggy. “The Empire waist really complements her figure.”

And if you, too, can’t get enough of the Pink Lady, we’ve got good news! She’ll be judging an upcoming episode of “Project Runway All Stars,” and her specially-designed line of MAC makeup will be out on November 14. [WWD]
