If you grew up watching “Sesame Street” — uh, who didn’t? — I’ve got the documentary for you. “Being Elmo” is about Kevin Clash, the man behind Elmo, arguably one of the most popular “Sesame Street” Muppets of all time. Clash aspired to work for Jim Henson since he was a kid, even making his own puppets in high school. This is the story of how he made that dream come true. I was never the biggest Elmo fan (Grover was my man!) but it is undeniable how popular the character is with children; he embodies, as Kevin says, “pure love.” “Being Elmo” hits theaters on Oct. 21.
