With rare exceptions like “Arrested Development,” “30 Rock” and “How I Met Your Mother,” I am generally very anti-sitcom. So I am surprised to find that, so far this new television season, the shows I’m most into—”2 Broke Girls” and “New Girl”—are both of the laugh track genre. Will tonight be the night to bring me a new drama that hooks me from the first minute? It very well could be.
