Woo hoo! This fall’s television lineup runneth over with lady-centric sitcoms like “2 Broke Girls,” “Suburgatory,” and “The New Girl.” It’s very exciting. But the truth is that, sadly, female television writers are still very much in the minority in Hollywood. The stats show that only about 15 percent of network television shows are penned by women, which seems incomprehensible considering how many funny female scribes are out there.
